On March 2, 2011, Ivanhoe students and staff celebrated Read Across America Day and Dr. Seuss' 107th birthday. On that day they brought books to life! Everyone was encouraged to dress up as a favorite character from a book. They gathered in the lower yard for "Read Across Ivanhoe", a schoolwide silent reading event. They sat in formation to create a giant "I."
